Toccata and fugue

I have created this blog to share with you my hobby concerning the organ, especially Bach music.

Since I am 6 years old, I remember an excelent cartoon on TV I was fond of "il était une fois la vie" this was about learning history by a toony way.. and the music intro was :

it was a bit short circuited, since 35 seconds is definitively not anough to play all this extraordinary music!
Anyway I Had a dream that I could play such this Bach music all alone one day.. I am 32 years old now, and last year I found that in my small town "Chatillon sur chalaronne" lost in france, I had a music school opening new instrument teaching (the organ!)
I met the director (Mr Pirret) of this school music and I said:I want to begin Organ and I want you to teach me the Toccata and Fugue From Bach! A litle bit smily he told : But we usually begin studying it after 10 years of school experience...I said I don't care.. I just want to make my dream come trueno matter all personal efforts I will have to endure but I want..
He said ok..
So I began my apprenticeship 1 hour a week with teacher. I am lucky to have access to the school organ 2 evenings a week..so I could practice additionnaly 8 hours alone per week.
